In the beginning, Le'Andria Johnson was simply, a "holy ghost" girl or a "church girl" as some would call it. It wasn't a bad thing, It was just a name--like so many other labels that children cast about in trying to categorize the world. Yeah mon! Happy New Year! Jamaica is almost here!
I’m getting so excited that everything is coming together for our upcoming Missions trip this January to the island I’ve longed to visit. My drummer and I already have our tickets confirmed and the date is set. We’ll be headed out January 22nd and already have another gig that just got booked today. We will be speaking/singing at a local Church the Jesus Way Jamaica team fellowships at on Sunday the 23rd. Like my Spiritual Pops Ed Elliott always says, “On the Missions field be prepared for anything!”
Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to fill up the schedule. Monday-Friday we’ll be speaking/singing at 5 different public schools, abuse shelters, orphanages, etc. and then capping off the week by doing a big concert under the stars in Kingston Park Friday night. We’ll also be doing some Radio/TV appearances, etc. while we’re out there as well as passing out my CDs to tons of people.
We could really use your help with this part of the trip as we’ve raised enough money to bring 350 CDs out there but are far from our goal. Our goal is to bring at least 1,000 CDs with us so we can leave something in the hands of those we impact that will constantly remind them of God’s “No Ordinary Love.” If you would like to partner with us in raising funds to send my latest CD No Ordinary Love over to Jamaica please click here!
